| If they can up speeds; does lack of FTTH matter? If they can achieve the same result of vastly increased speeds without running fiber directly to each home, does anyone care? And if they can get these speeds at lower cost, Wall St and customers should both be happy.

Re: If they can up speeds; does lack of FTTH matter? This can be a blow to justification to Fiber. Comcast will be able to do all the fiber has promised but with copper. Not to mention I live in a area with large apartment and condo complexes, the one FIOS keeps skipping. I see FIOS as the modern day OK Soda* , both are great products doom by lousy planning and expensive execution of the business plan.
