No problem

Just use your rights to go with another carrier/company that will protect your privacy. Vote with your $$. These companies need to be made to understand that we the people want control of our country again.

There is a bright spot.

Chief Judge Vaughn Walker of Northern California's Federal District Court, who allowed a similiar suit against AT&T to proceed despite the government's objections, will hear arguments in the Verizon case on June 21.

While I happy that many of the cases before the 9th Circuit are allowed, where they would likely not be in many other appeals courts, the 9th has the highest turnover rate (70% ?!) of all district courts. That can either be seen as a bright light in the midst of dark interpretation or an anomoly in an otherwise reasonable judiciary.
Hmmmm.

In essence, even if the case is ruled against the FedGov in the 9th, it is almost assured turnover in the SCOTUS, especially with the last two judicial picks. Kennedy will never have felt such pressure!

Easier said then done with the dearth of high speed Internet access. Plus except for the rare holdout Verizon's action were the norm not the exception. I have little confidence in any company siding with customer privacy vs government.

It is a sad day when the government cannot be trusted to abide by the Constitution office holders have sworn to protect.
