Amazing speed

Wow, 1 Mbps for a whole 5 MB!

That is incredible! Comcast, I quiver in anticipation for these impressive speeds.

While not necessarily an "OMFG" improvement, in their defense, this is probably geared more for people that are doing picture uploads, not archive or media (CD rips) uploads. For example, I could upload fifty 100KB JPEGs before hitting that 5MB back-off. Most people aren't uploading that many pictures at once. And, even if they are, the files uploaded might be significantly smaller.

1Mbps is still > 384kbps... and without additional cost.. so why downplay the enhancement, even if it is only for the first 5MB? Perhaps you should call Comcast and ask to be excluded from deployment?

I have 6/384 service and I am getting 1.5 mbps upload speeds as well a downloads in the 20mbps speeds and greater. And if you aren't a big movie downloader or P2P user, these speeds are a nice bonus with no additional cost.
Here was the latest 2 tests I did:

Lets see how many flamers here will say that they DO NOT want Powerboost turned on their personal modems. It is better than nothing remember.
