I'll have you know, you'll be PUNishing us with the lack of puns that we'll now be suffering under.

Don't be a stranger, Train.

We will miss you as a mod, but keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. We need our pun fix from time to time....

What a tough spot, but one I know all too well. My Mom also has advancing Alzheimer's as well. It is no fun at all, and especially hard on the kids who can't understand why Grandma doesn't recognize them some days.

Hang in there, take care of real life, and this place will be here when you need it!!

My prayers go out to you and your family. Take care, don't be a stranger and I'll certainly miss your jokes/puns.. They brightened up many a dull/bad day for me. Take care of the family and do stop in as much as possible, we'll be here waiting.

dial up stinks.. but it's all I got after losing my phone for a day and a half.. now I'm dealing with the DSL people trying to get my internet fixed..

I feel for you - my MIL passed away from Alzheimers several years ago, and it's always firmly in mind on this weekend in particular.

Many prayers for you all.

Oh, dear....

Whatever are we going to do without our resident train???

SF, you know that we are all going to miss you, but I totally support you in your care of your mother. I know how difficult this journey is, and will keep you close to my heart. You know we will welcome the sight of you when you have a few moments to pop in and let us know how you're doing.

And if I happen to roll south for any reason, I'll just have to amble over to the Freight Yard to see how things are going.

Take care, dear Train -- safe trip to you, and all whom you love and hold dear.
