Any reason to get a new modem? SB 5120Just reactivated my cable modem service. When we switched it off last it was Adelphia. Now it's Comcast. I believe I'm on a 6/384 package but we appear to have powerboost now (yay!) and most speedtests come back in the 15/400 range.
Any good reason to replace my trusty Motorola SB 5120? Is there anything that it can't do? It's always been reliable and just worked.
Oh these are my current levels if it means anything

If your getting Powerboost and those speeds, a new modem will most likely not make any difference. |

No reason to replace it. 5120's are good modems and should handle any current service level. You don't appear to be getting upload powerboost yet, but it may not currently be deployed in your area. |
