Because the internet was designed to be secure in the first place? It's entire premise was built on the free exchange of information...all information.

We have morphed, and retro-fitted it in to something else that does POS for the world; then they wonder why ppls credit card numbers get stolen.

As an ISP for 12 years, I can tell you that that was not until recently.

Funny thing is AT&Ts little rooms were pay for by government money and ours comes out of our pocket.

Odd how that works.
