You can't even make a guess at how much you've downloaded and uploaded?

I can't tell you to the bit how much I have downloaded in a given time period. However, by checking folder dates and sizes, I can estimate that I have downloaded roughly 200GB of data over the last two years. Which is, really, pretty light duty work.

It is my understand from a few friends working the departments handling this, that it's your upload rates they're concerned with, not downloading. If you're saturating the connection with a lot of torrent uploading action, then that's when they're going to send you a notification like that. Apparently, and I don't know if I'm supposed to say this, but it's about 5 gigs max upload per day...that's the magic number. Just make sure none of your machines is uploading an insane amount of anything
