Re: [northeast] Actiontec MI424WR router log WW

So I think I figured this out. I don't have time right now to attach pics, but may post tonight.

1)From the main Actiontec admin screen, select the 'Advanced' tab at the top.
2)About half way down under System Logging select the option for Remote System Notify Level. I set mine to Information for now, will scale back later. When you do that an entry field for an IP address appears.
3)Enter your WW IP and you are off.
4)Right under the System Logging area is the Security Logging. Repeat steps 2 + 3 for the security logs
5) Now go to the 'Security Log' under the 'Firewall Settings' tab and select the settings. From here you can tell the Actiontec to log all incoming and outgoing connections.

That should do it. Why did they have to make this difficult? My old Linksys routers just had one option for this.

Your solution worked! What I failed to do is go to Firewall settings and check both log incoming and outgoing connections. Who would of figured that after entering the WW IP address you would have to go to Firewall settings and turn it on. I agree Linksys routers are easier to deal with. Thanks for your help, you helped me big time.
