Kill the 'magic'

You mean... Kill the 'magic' of making bundles of money by increasing the price of a ticket without improving anything and price gouging the captive audience by forcing them to buy goods/food only from then?

I never go to the movies - Let them stream to me at home.

Real movie magic is being the projectionist thats what I used too do for a living I worked for HOYTS and GeneralCinemas but both companys are out of bussiness now.35 millimeter film should not get dirty or dusty if taken care of properly which means covering the film at the end of every night all so there are two sides too film base and emultion base is the film side when it gets scratched you will see black lines Now emultion is the color dyes when thats scratched youll see green scratches lines allso there theater should be equiped with a film cleaner solution and films now days are put on polyestre film has a tendency to go in an out of focus and some film is still put on cellulose acitate back in the early day film was flameable Nitrate film any way I used too make $20.00 every quater hour plus charged theaters for make up and break down of film $8.00 per film.Former member IATSE local 437 of brockton mass

Being a projectionist certainly didn't teach you a bit of spelling or grammar.

While not normally one to support a spelling/grammar slam, this one actually has decent basis. The post was damn near incoherent.

Re: Price?
I guess if you go by yourself(who does that?) then it's expensive but compare it to going with 3-4 people and it's about the same price. The only thing good about the theatre is the sound can be cranked up without your neighbours bitching. Film in the theatres is always dirty and shaky.
Well excuse my spelling ass clowns but where not in school and I am not a newspaper editor or reporter keep and yes I didnt win the spelling be but I do use Linux and Windows thats the geek in me but you 2 are nerds.

Hmm... Don't believe that I commented on spelling. What I commented about was the random/incoherent nature of your postings. The "take three or four sentences and smash them into one run-on" reply does nothing to change that assessment.

That is no excuse. Throwing grammar and spelling to the wind simply makes you look like an uneducated idiot. It doesn't matter if it's on the internet. Have some consideration for others.
