Seriously, marketing has gotten outta hand. I don't NEED to see a movie. What is the point of contributing to that opening number (and someone's greed)? I can wait for the DVD(HD-DVD/BR) release at Walmart for $9 or Netflix for $1.50(based on return per rental rate subscr). Cheaper than the theater. I have a decent AV setup so that argument is moot. And if I dislike the movie I can sell it for 1/2 on eBay or return it to Netflix.
So what if you can wait. Then go ahead and do that. Why not give those that WANT to see it do so? I don't see what your issue is with this. it' snot like your going to get your choices taken away.
