| I think its been proven that trying to catch, slow down or stop pirates is no easier than stopping terrorism. Both are extremely strong in their mission, any attempt to curb them is met with a dynamic resistance and no matter what you do, they keep coming.

I remember when that really was the law. Back then, any encryption software was considered munitions. If you wanted to have 128-bit SSL on your web browser, you had to order a special diskette. To get the diskette, you had to provide all of your personal information, swear an oath of allegiance, cross your eyes and hope to die, etc. etc. |
