Actually, not everyone knows these things. I happen to know that with the high latency of satellite VOIP is difficult, but there are people doing it.
But we're discussing terrestrial wireless here - there's not a physical reason why the latency can't be lower - the cell site is not in space - it's close by.
My experience with Verizon Wireless has been less that stellar and less than I'm even paying for. Before defending them maybe you should try them out yourself.

| every one knows that u cant run an voip over wireless or satellite connection due to the latency before you put down an isp you need to review the product and what it capability's are before you buy.From the location you are at you will have to live with what you can get. |
