Because the unions can't milk a smaller provider. Labor is the only thing that constantly goes up. And unions are forcing labor costs up. I know the cost of living is going up as well, but these huge increases are bad.
I wouldn't be surprised if the union wasn't behind a lot of the drama. I can't blame anyone for not wanting a unprofitable market.
