Salary increases for Union Workers run 1.5%-2.5% {varies year to year and by region}over the course of the current 5 year contract. The largest increase in the cost of labor is the rising cost of healthcare. That is determined by the insurance industry and faced by every company weather it uses Union or non-Union workers. The Executives are the ones who are milking the payrolls with the obscene amounts of money they are paid in bonuses and stock options every year.
