What?

If I already pay for cable and want to download the show I missed, why is this illegal?

I propose a solution to the problem. ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc., should allow paying cable subscribers to setup an account to verify they actually are paying for cable, then allow the user to watch whatever show they want. Or setup their own bt client that only paying cable subscribers are allowed to use.

-my two cents

I have to admit I do download tv shows... but it's usually because I miss them on tv. I'm not sure if it's stealing, but if i'm already paying for a television service it shouldn't really matter.

What does paying for cable have to do with anything? Those channels are broadcast over the air for free as well.
