I got Fap once back in Dec. My fault. Since then listen to streaming audio, browse and search. I let the auto updates do their thing on a schedule. I have a copy of Vista but have not installed it and likely won't until after SP1, if then.

Microsoft made Win XP SP2 available on CD for free, including shipping, and it only took a week or so for me to receive a couple of copies.

While it does not contribute to the fear-mongering, it would not be surprising if they did the same for Vista SP1 and the putative XP SP3, if that is what you are implying...
