| I know it does have a built in phone filter. It's basically a do it yourself version of the good old POTS Filter.
As far as mounting it goes I would guess it has holes in the back and put two screwes the wall and mount it like you would a picture frame.

The NID-01 is pretty easy to setup, reg/green matches up with red/green Line is your reference for the main feed into the house Modem is the jack leading to the where the modem is Phone is the rest of the house.
