<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/422162"><b>tahoejeff</b></A> : interesting.  thank  you name game.  i spent two and a half hours trying to clean it.  the online scanners kept crashing.  10 viruses, and over 8000 infected files.  i saw trojans and downloaders, and other goodies.<br>i told them i would come back another day to reinstall windows.  now maybe i'll give AVG a shot first.  that's what i use on my home computers.<br>they have a Norton suite, but looking at the logs, i see they only go back 30 days.  i'm thinking they were without protection before that.<br><SMALL>--<br>The Geek Shall Inherit the Earth</SMALL>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/422162"><b>tahoejeff</b></A> : i'm cleaning someone's pc right now, running the kapersky online scanner.<br>the reason they called me:  all of their mp3 files became zip files, with a file size of 214kb each.  obviously a normal size mp3 file won't compress this far, and as i figured, they will not decompress.<br>has anyone ever heard of this happening?<br>they use Limewire.<br><SMALL>--<br>The Geek Shall Inherit the Earth</SMALL>]]></description>
