Re: mp3 extension changed to zip? interesting. thank you name game. i spent two and a half hours trying to clean it. the online scanners kept crashing. 10 viruses, and over 8000 infected files. i saw trojans and downloaders, and other goodies.
i told them i would come back another day to reinstall windows. now maybe i'll give AVG a shot first. that's what i use on my home computers.
they have a Norton suite, but looking at the logs, i see they only go back 30 days. i'm thinking they were without protection before that.
