| Qwest DSL Modem Actiontech M1000 and D-link DI-624m
I just got my Qwest modem and am trying to get it to work with my D-link wireless router. Both Dlink and Qwest have same Ip...192.168.0.1....I can change the dlink but still cant get internet to work when going from qwest modem to the wan port on dlink and then lan port on dlink to back of computer. Any help is appreciated before I pull what little hair I have left out. |

| Set the internal LAN address of the dlink to 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.0.1. That then will make your computers that you hook up to the dlink, 192.168.1.X . Leave the WAN settings in the dlink to auto. Have the LAN output of the Actiontec go to the WAN Input of the dlink.
It sounds like you did this, but you may have you PC set for a static IP address possibly. Are your PC's IP addresses set for auto dhcp or static? Later... Mike... |
