Alright- They checked things here - saw it at the CO.
Even coordinated an excellent test with the Network guys (I was impressed).
Yes, I still have the picture quality i've had for the past 3 weeks. They did gratiously give me some tips and pointers on how to better manage it.
Plus they gave me an optical cable for my audio receiver. Who knew i was missing out on true Dolby?
They do have some very smart folks working for them. |

The degraded quality you have been talking about is permanent? What is the cause? Should it effect other customers? You mentioned that the techs "saw it" at the CO, saw what?
In other words, is this a real problem with a specific piece of equipment and/or data transmission rates or not? |

They must mean anti-depressants, regular visits to your Psychiatrist. And gross amounts of the Alcoholic beverage of your choosing, at 30 minute intervals.
Just 'tweak' the contrast settings on your TV, turn down the sharpness to the lowest setting, and don't ever clean the dust off the screen, because it actually 'enhances' the picture quality.
Did they even offer any idea as to why this only started 3 weeks ago?
I mean, it NEVER looked this bad before. I haven't changed any settings on my TV sets, but it seems someone has changed the settings elsewhere.
So I guess I'm the next guy to get a visit from Verizon. Maybe they can give me some good 'Tips and Pointers' on how to better manage it.
