Thats funny, since I deal with and dispatch union workers on a daily basis to complete jobs here in the NYC area. It has gotten so bad that some buildings will only allow union techs inside to do any type of work. This generally causes a problem when the union decides they dont want to dispatch after 5pm, or their lead tech is on his paid five week vacation, or some other absurd excuse. We are left explaining to customers why their service wont be turned up, even when we have multiple qualified techs waiting to do the job! Some of these union "deals" have deteriorated to the point where a company cant dispatch their own tech to their own facility without something like two or three union "observers" watching what they do. Talk about a waste of money!!
