Frankly, the ONLY reason I have a satellite dish is so that my Mother can watch Animal Planet and Court TV. The alternatives are not mediocre if you don't watch all that other stuff. |

I used to have cable but found I never watched any of the cable-only channels. $50+/month down the drain for nothing, more if I actually wanted HD service (I did get UHD with the $52 (and increasing) "extended basic", but that's mostly bad to mediocre movies Universal couldn't sell anywhere else, plus a few HD TV series) |
