| 327W Constantly Acquiring Network Address
Didn't get a reply at Verizon DSL ONLine so here I am. I've noticed the broadband icon in the active programs side of the taskbar has a pointer moving side to side. Hovering the mouse over the icon gives me a "Acquiring Network Address" message. This is since I replaced my 2200 with the 327W which I'm using as a router and modem.
I'm still able to maintain my internet connection but was wondering if this was a problem which can be corrected if necessary or is it normal? |

If WiFi, this could indicate some local wireless interference, such as from a wireless phone. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 2200 modem/router; SuSE 10.1; firefox 1.5.0.10 |

| From your description, it appears to be a WiFi problem. If not a wireless phone, perhaps some other source of interference. Or maybe your computer is too far from the 327w (electromagnetic distance, affected by shielding, etc). Or perhaps you have a defective 327w. -- AT&T dsl; Westell 2200 modem/router; SuSE 10.1; firefox 1.5.0.10 |
