<title>USR5461 Speed loss</title>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1460385"><b>steve51</b></A> : All:<br>I have 10Mb Insight Cable broadband with RCA DCM425 modem and a USR 5461 Router.<br>I'm not getting the speed through the router that I was expecting so I did some tests through speedtest.net.<br>When I'm connected through the router to the hardwired ethernet my dl speeds are in the neighborhood of 1900Kbps.<br>When I bypass the router and plug the ethernet cable direct to the cable modem I dee dl speeds of 10436Kbps!  5x faster!<br>Is this a normal loss?<br>Anyway to get a little more throughput?<br>Any suggestions?<br>Thanks, steve]]></description>
