Wow, does anyone see a glaring omission on that map? Univerisity City is uncovered . . . one would think that students at Penn & Drexel would be the first enthusiastic users on such a system. Plus, the area isn't too violent compared to North Philly / Temple area. No body armor req'd in University City at least when I went to school there! |

Now, the people in North Philly, that is different matter... One has to wonder though, if one can't afford internet access, how can one afford a laptop? But I am sure the biz people at Earthlink thought that through. |

| reply to myokitis myokitis, that map is just the pilot area. there is no omission. the Inky yesterday had an article that showed the eventual total network coverage. the online version of the article doesn't show the map but says "It will blanket all of Philadelphia's 135 square miles." |
