No offense but the techs that are there are not comcast trained techs. most of them can barely spell their names let alone do anything technical. I guess if you where really wanting smart techs you wouldnt be living in Houma Louisiana. Yes, I've lived here all my life and haven't any plans to move for a few more years yet. I also know about the techs, as you've seen in my review, one was a contractor, part time, who screwed things up even more than they already were. It took another tech to come back and clean up. He was a Comcast guy.
As for living here, If I had the chance and the resources, I'd live in VA. Right in the middle of a just deployed FiOS area.
I'm hoping that Verizon will come in and buy out AT&T so I can get FiOS here without moving from a home I'm comfortable in.
Until then, I'm stuck with Comcast, but will not stop until I get satisfaction.

| Don't give up.. As a Comcast tech I know that it is possible to give the customer great service. Get a supervisor involved.. If that doest work call 800comcast and ask for the customer complaint number in Philly. Comcast has over 55 million customers most of them extremely satisfied. Trust me everyone is jumping on the FIOS bandwagon but what people dont realize is that to get the fiber from the curb to the house it will cost you between 800-3000 dollars out of the customers pocket depending on the distance. Anyway, comcast is going to double its spend sometime this year with no price increase. |

But I'll give an update when I find something out today.
I also know that it costs to go to fiber, but for those unhappy with their current services, the cost is cheap.
As for spending with Comcast, do you have any goodies about speed upgrades in my neck of the woods or price changes? |
