I used to have cable but found I never watched any of the cable-only channels. $50+/month down the drain for nothing, more if I actually wanted HD service (I did get UHD with the $52 (and increasing) "extended basic", but that's mostly bad to mediocre movies Universal couldn't sell anywhere else, plus a few HD TV series)
