| RR or earthlink: Brooklyn 11209
My son is moving to Brooklyn (11209) in a week and is arranging for installation of TW cable. I understand there is a choice of RR or earthlink cable.
Which should he pick? From this forum and the Earthlink one, the better choice seems to be RR.

| All the same, you both get the horrible support and speeds. Just w/ earthlink, you get a @earthlink.net so no one knows you are using Time suckers cable Sucker runner.... O yeah if you dont subscribe to cable, earthlink is better, cause its about $5-10 cheaper. i forgot, cause i switched.... goodluck! |

When I lived in Bay Ridge (11209) I had RR (still do now in Manhattan) and it's perfect.

Earthlink gives you more stuff. Their VoIP is pretty good too.
Other than that, no matter which you choose, you are at the mercy of Time Warner's cable monopoly. |
