I have been slurping my neighbors internet connection for 2 years now useing the same 3 routers and cantennas. They were'nt too expensive but the money has paid off hansomely in free access and Safe Anonomous movie DLing. The routers never change but I have to periodically adjust the 3 cantena positions to maintain good speeds. One antenna on an expensive router will never be as good so its just a waste of money. I finally hit the 12,000 movie file mark and almost as many TV show eposides, so clearly anonimity from **aa lawsuits is my biggest wireless benefit. Long live Wifi...
Real nice, so when the neighbors get busted I am sure you will explain to them that it was your fault and you will pay the fines, correct?

Well not exactly. My neighbors kids all around me kind of run wild and they did a pretty bad thing a few years back that got them all arrested and caused me to file a pretty big issurance claim. Needless to say, my neighbors don't like me any more because all their kids had to do community service. But I sleep pretty good knowing I get some extra bit of restitution that doesn't seem to bother them. At this point I highly doubt that anybody will get "caught" but if somehow snit hit the fan, I'll be in the street with the rest of them watching the raid.

Actually, it's all part of the larger strategy to get the **AAs to shoot themselves in the foot.

You know, 12,000 people served with "pay up or go to court" letters, and their defense is "it wasn't me, somebody was stealing my wireless. All I did was plug it in and turn it on, just like the directions said."

Surely one of those will finally make it to court, ya think?

BBR sees fit to interfer with my participation in these discusions by delaying my posts for some 5.5 hours after initially posting them reasonably promptly. This has happend several times before so its certainly no accident. Since I never flamed or cursed or insulted anybody in these posts, it is clear the moderators were simply interfering with my ability to defend my ideas and beliefs because it differs from their own. That is a very pathetic way of running this board and demonstates that free speach here can be very resticted, which indeed is not free speech. I will never actually become a member even if I do continue to read the articles. I doubt the day will come when I can fully discuss my ideas, with the current people running this board. I take comfort in saying my ideas are fully discussed on other boards where censurship is limited to fulgar language and personal insults, the proper way to run an open forum.

Heavens yes, we're pathetic and we're out to silence your ideas.

Actually anon posts in news comments are autoheld due to big problems with spam in news comments. Posts by members aren't aren't automatically held, however.

Suit yourself.

The proofs in the pudding. My initial posts had short delays I could put up with and still effectively respond to. When the moderators realized what I was talking about. I was then switched off into the "let him die queue". This is not the first time I have talked about this subject here and this is not the first time I was cut off in the very same way. Screw that, I am not an idiot. And don't try to give me that "Oh we had high volume" excuse. The last post was at night with little traffic and you held it till this morning. Actually I was surprized you posted it at all but then again, this thread is about dead anyway. There is a huge difference between 10 minute delays and 10 hour delays. You want to improve BBR then quit interfereing with the posts.

I don't think you're an idiot at all. You've just arrived at a bad explanation for the post delays, that's all. There are only a few moderators who can approve posts in the news comments. The post is assigned to whichever of them is online, or was most recently online. If it sits, it gets assigned to another one, hopefully online but sometimes not, until someone's finally online to approve it (99% of the time) or disapprove it.

That's the way it works. You want to improve BBR then keep participating. You want to eliminate waiting times for your posts to be visible then register --- it's free.

Suit yourself.

All right, since you saw fit to respond, ill stay open minded about it. And maybe ill register. Its hard to participate effectively with these huge delays...
