ATT and Covad make Speakeasy look like crap. I have had my line for a little over a year and there has been 5 trouble tickets. ALL of which has been because of SBC/ATTs horrible infrastructure. From linemen completely unplugging the circuit, moisture problems, bad line pole to house, severe weather/lightning creating 'unbalanced' lines. I remember in my old 14.4/28.8/56k days spending hours arguing with Centel/Amerifuck because of line static so bad I couldn't get 9600bps. 60068 (and im sure others) needs a complete overhaul of EVERYTHING. From the copper lines, lineman, technicians, office people. If SBC and COVAD ran like speakeasy their would be NO PROBLEMS. |
