it sucks but thats what it is...
I have heard of ways to allow xp home to join a domain, dont know if vista home premium has a fix yet or if its even worth it, when I ran in to this problem with a laptop I just bit the bullet and brought xp pro.
ps.
dont know about vista but with xp home you are allowed to browse/download(and a few other things) files and folders, just could not join/experience all of the benefits of joining(share security permissions etc. ) a domain |
