Re: [Vista] Can Vista Home Premium join a domain?

What do you mean, double the work?

The Vista Anytime Upgrade makes going from Home Basic, to Premium, to Business, to Ultimate very easy.
It seems that one can only do

Home Basic > Premium
Basic > Ultimate
Premium > Ultimate
Business > Ultimate

I don't think you can do the 'anytime' upgrade from Home to Business though. But I could be wrong.

Looks like you're right, but since the OP was thinking about getting Premium now and possibly upgrading to Ultimate later, then the 'anytime upgrade' path would work fine for him.

No I wasn't. I was deciding which edition to order right now, and that edition will be whatever fills my entire set of requirements.

I see no merit in buying the wrong version today and then upgrading it later.

I ordered a copy of 'ultimate'.
