| Problems again with FF & Span
hello everyone, hope you have a good day,Finally caught on picts the problem that either computer or FF is having with the SPAN, this goes along with the post,

Situation go to CBS local news site for local news & get SWAMPED-FLOODEDby something called ZEDO, to where it clogs/slowdown the computer,see pict,plz,
QUESTION is there a way, to stop this from getting close to the clomputer or cslowing it down?
since the web site or master on on cbs affiliate site ISN't going to do anything about SPAN
sometimes it numbers upward to 30 ads at a time,
NO not on every site just this one site

| That is an Internet Explorer window ... not Firefox.
Looks like your problem is an Adware problem  . You need to run Ad-aware and Spybot S&D.

Also, check your cookies/settings in Fx. Tools>Options>Privacy tab.
Look at "Show cookies". If you seen any from ZEDO, go back to the Privacy tab>click "exceptions" under cookies. Add ALL instances of any ZEDO cookie from "Show cookies" by typing in it's address, then highlight it and choose "block". You may have to go back and forth to type in each one if there's more than one.
Alternatively, until you get this sorted out, you can have Fx ask you what to do with each cookie, and then deny any from ZEDO: in the Privacy tab>cookies>Keep until>dropdown menu>choose "ask me every time". Any request from Fx to set a ZEDO cookie, choose "deny". Doing so will automatically add the cookie/site to the blocked list instead of having to add it manually.
