[TWC] Raleigh, NC TWC/RR Slow connection dropping VOIP
Anyone else experiencing issues in Raleigh?
I can't keep a connection long enough to call TWC over VOIP.
Measuring Download speeds of 1.48 - 2.3Mbps; Upload 180-369Mbps Jitter 8.6ms (unpredictable flow of data) Packet loss 0.8% (OK by VOIP standards) Quality of Service 32%
This occurred on Tuesday @ 5:30pm and now, starting at 2:05pm
edit: Normally get 4.8Mbps down, only issue in last year was when a truck damaged a trunk-line last year.
Called TWC, rep putting blame on router only because I'm the only one reporting issues. I have another router to swap, however it will be much easier to connect PC directly to cable modem to run diags (only I can't call TWC without a router).
