| Legal Action Against Courts for Miscarriage of Justice? If this woman served jail time due to this travesty of justice, I hope the state pays her for wrongful imprisonment. I would make a HUGE stink once that not guilty verdict gets read (which it hopefully will be). If I were her, I'd go on the talk show circuit pointing out the incompetence of the Original Judge, Prosecutor, and All else involved. Of course, if the judge who heard the case initially threw it out, I would spare him the embarrassment. However, I would string that prosecutor by his feet and demand a resignation for failing to do his job properly. Enough public pressure can often make this happen. |
