Seems ok here at 34ms to the speed test server.

depends on where u are. My connection in Boca Raton has gone to crap with pings lately. But if you drive 30 miles south to Broward the pings are much lower

You are on noise level correction profile this Is why your pings are high you need to call BellSouth and tell them you want to be put on "Fast Path" profile it solved my problem

There is a reason he is on a noise profile and calling to be put on a "Fast Path" profile could very well cause more serious problems with his line, up to and including total loss of sync.

It's not a fastpath issue. My parents are on a noise profiler but still ping less then me, and they are 30 miles south of me

There is a problem, here; latency to the router shouldn't be so high; even for just one in three packets.
That is with upload saturated by a BitTorrent download.
