We have plenty of examples that show that simply federalizing a problem is not the same as solving it. No Child Left Behind frequently comes up as proof of this. The NCLB approach tried at the state level has actually worked, but the one-size-fits-all approach taken by the Federal government has caused nothing but grief for school systems. -- Only SHATNER is Kirk. |
