Re: Can't get to some sites, can via Proxy, What could it be? I have vpn'ed into my home network this morning, open rdc and it still didn't work. I just did the same test and it appears that my google home page open without a hitch. Might they have fixed things?
On a vpn connection you are using the internet from the local network (the one you are physically connected to)unless there are settings routing all internet traffic thru the tunnel.
