Re: Safari Beta For Windows

If the arrows aren't highlighted, it means you haven't surfed anywhere in that window. Surf around and then there will be a list under each arrow when you press on it.

Assuming it works the same in Windows as on the Mac...

When you first open Safari and you want to see the places you surfed to yesterday then just go to the History menu and choose from the last 5 days to see where you have been.

At least in my copy of Fire Fox I can't just open up a new window and press on an forward or back arrow and see the last 20 places I have visited. I have to go to the history menu on fire fox just like on Safari ( and on Fire fox I only see the last 10 sites I have been to vs Safari's last 5 days worth of history of where I have been.

(1)There isn't a pulldown arrow on the browser address to look at the places you have been. All 3 other browsers have it.

In Firefox the address field has an arrow at the far right, clicking on that gives a pull-down of visited links. I believe that is what is being sought.

That arrow doesn't show the past 20 links visited when you first open a window. At least for me that arrow on the far right of the address bar only takes me back to the original page I opened when I opened the window.

Works for me with Safari 3 beta on OS X.
