I just tested it on one of my XP boxes, scrolling down one page, clicking a link and then returning, and after the page completely reloaded, it jumped down to where I was before.<br> </DIV>If I follow a link (as you suggest) and then go back, then refresh returns to the correct spot. If I just go to the page and then scroll down (not travelling to another page), then refresh goes to top of page. Once the scroll point has been established, it always returns to that point on refresh, regardless of where I might scroll to before hitting refresh.<br> </DIV>Gack. All 3 other browsers have it.<br><br>(2) BSOD Vista (first time that has happened for me, and it took an Apple beta to do it ;)<br><br>(3) When I try to rightclick on art on Amazon.com, it will open it.  When it opens it, then I can right click and save it.  Minor annoyance.]]></description>

Even when I go into properties and select a basic font as default, like 'Verdana' or 'Arial' and even 'Myriad', it still reverts back to this Brady Bunch font.  When I removed the Brady font from my machine, some pages now do not display text as the poster above shows in his screenshot.<br><br>Does anyone have any ideas why it picked this random font to use when the settings clearly are at default settings?<br><br>I know it's beta, but this seems pretty basic.]]></description>

Seems very stable and responsive to me though -- I'm enjoying it.  As for customizability I'd try Saft (if that works with Safari 3 -- not sure about that) and didn't someone earlier say it automatically recognized their FF plugins or something to that effect? I just installed the Adobe flash plugin, but it's still not working on a site I visit daily with no issues in Fx. I don't see it in the Safari plugin folder either. I followed the instructions on the Safari site>Adobe site (download .exe and run from desktop).  When I check on the Adobe site, it says I have the current version.<br><br>Also, I just got an error when clicking the "back" button that caused Safari to close ("Do you want to report this error to MS?"). hmmm.....<br><br>And is there any reason why my Windows taskbar won't drop down over the Safari window when it's maximized? The new AT&T/Yahoo mail beta craps out (not surprising), but the older version is noticably faster than FF or IE.<br><br>Looks like it sucked in all of my FF previously vistited sites automatically--no bookmarks loaded, but all I have to do is start typing an address and it auto-completes.  Sweet.<br><br>Noticed something interesting while posting this...if you right-click in posting window, you can change the writing direction (L to R, and R to L).  I can't seem to select the other direction though.<br><br>So far a great beta, but of course time (and bug finds) will tell the tale.  ;)<br><br><B>Edit:</B>  oh! and you can change the order of tabs easily by dragging and dropping.]]></description>
