So... what is it going to be?

So, faster broadband speeds are coming for Internet use and the current 6mbps limit will not be applied to U-Verse? Did they indicate what possible speeds could be? This post mentions 100mbps @ 1400 feet - is that for the total service or just for end-user internet use? Finally, I'm curious if these faster speeds will be available to DSL users too?

If AT&T were to start offering real, competitive internet access speeds at say 20mbps-50mbps, then I can swallow their ugly build-outs. But, ugly build-outs all over town, just so a few folks can get another TV reception capacity... to heck with that!
