ROFLMFAO

So where is my favorite troll CWH now????

I've been telling everyone for a very long time how AT&T won't be delivering all these promised `features` like whole-house DVR, multiple HD streams, 100+ HD channels for a very long time.

I could see it coming a mile away so I resigned up for DirecTV for 2 years. I now enjoy HD DVRs in all of my rooms and in just a few short months ( not years ) I'll be enjoying 100+ HD channels.

HAHAHAHA ... and don't think FTTP could save AT&T. I've got FTTP from AT&T and it is having a hard time just maintaining a measly 5MBps without being slowed down from the oversold, underprovisioned backbone.

I'm in the same boat, although I have not had any problems getting consistent speeds on my FTTP. However, if they are having problems with capacity now...at these measly speeds...something is seriously wrong.

Busy with work, family and watching the spurs win game 3.

Disappointing news today no doubt. WHDVR is going to be very late now... Either way, still like the service...

ATT's backbone sucks. To ping a cable modem sitting right next to me in the same building, my tracerts show I go through texas. Im in CT. I can rarly if ever max out my DSL line. Even on pr0n and sourceforge, apple and ati. I can easily get 30mbit out of those sites from my connection at work, so its not their end.

are you sure its actually through texas? or is that just what the geolocation shows for the IPs? alot of their IPs will show up as texas, but they actually aren't.

and are you sure it isn't a problem with your setup that you can't max out your line? i always max out my dsl line from at&t, unless the server i'm downloading from limits the speed.

Im basing it on tracert's DNS names. I got a 40 ms ping between the 2 modems.
