| I think it is unlikely that the iPhone will have a wireless modem app, although to be fair, we haven't yet seen the entire feature set. But this is probably *not* the type of thing a third-party could write using Safari unless it has some serious hooks into the rest of the iPhone. |

True, but once they start seeing heavy bandwidth usage they'll quickly remove it from your plan, this has been confirmed by many posters on howardforums

I think we can save a lot of time if everyone that had a question about what it can or can't do would go to »www.apple.com/iphone to answer all of their unanswered questions. Sheesh!
