Sounds like something the EFF lawyers might need. If they are wrong about your IP kinda makes you wonder about all the others who got the letter or were actually sued. Can you imagine someone having to pay thousands in a lawsuit only to find out Comcast or any other ISP got it wrong? |

| The wierd thing before we ditched comcast HSI we got a DCMA notice saying that we downloaded Fedora!!!! from BitTorrent... FEDORA! you know the free linux distro that is distributed via bittorrent.... gawd some of the DCMA notices never make sense... someone in the local unversity also got a DCMA notice for a video they made of themselves being downloaded off their system.. they called it Paramount something i cant remember, but then they gota a DCMA notice from Paramount Pictures to cease and decist seeding their "movie" well it was a home movie and paramount pictures doesnt own the name "Paramount" |
