| I don't see it in Bellsouth country I checked through bellsouth.com for the Atlanta area and they only have 768k / 128k for $19.95. No thanks. I'd rather hold on to my Comcast 6000k/384k for $33 a month for the next year.

I see nothing at att.com or bellsouth.com that mentions any price other than $19.95(+ $75 cash back if ordered soon) for the 768/128 tier.
And AT&T put out a news release yesterday that quotes the $19.95 deal. NOTHING on a $10 option.

$10 rate for DSL lite service for AT&T To ease the tension about not seeing the rate for $10 when logged on to www.bellsouth.com a valid telephone number has to be entered that does not already have DSL service. This is for new customers only. The website will quote the rate of $19.95 or $24.95, does not matter. Once the number is entered and the cutomer continue with the process it will give you the option for the $10 option........... |

Re: I don't see it in Bellsouth country i want to add a correction to the previous post: while it is true that in Puerto Rico you don't pay FEDERAL taxes, the local (state) taxes are more than double of the U.S. State and Federal Combined (i am a CPA, so i am familiar with both tax systems). also this year there is SALES taxes on everything - including food and groceries - unlike on the US where the groceries are not taxed.
regarding the "free" military, Puertorricans have served in the military and died in all wars since beginning of last century (after Jones act was established March 2, 1917) |
