My dad is in his 80's and has almost no education.
Around chore time I'd hear him say "I can't find hide ner hair of that boy".
He'd double my chores if I lied about where I was. Somehow he always knew.
When he felt like giving me a little pocket money, it was when he had to make a bank deposit.
He didn't know words like integrity, work ethic, or economical, but somehow he taught me what they meant.
Thanks dad, you are the smartest man I know.
