The build up of a new VRAD does require work in a existing SAI (xbox) and it is possible that a connection was knocked loose. Call tech support and the should be able to find and fix this problem.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/297537"><b>en102</b></A> : The VRAD itself may have not caused issues, however, I have had my share of dead line (shorted once, repaired 5 hours later, only to be disconnected for the entire weekend due to contractors working on the box and VRAD.)<br><br>Besides the typical watering of the node/cross connect, the only other time I typically have a DSL drop is when someone is working on the VRAD or cross connect itself, or at the curb.<br><br>Lets just say, my standard DSL days are numbered, as I lose sync daily, and nobody will fix it.<br><SMALL>--<br>Canada = Hollywood North</SMALL>]]></description>

I suspect that its just noise from the pump, as my line returns to 'normal' right after its done. They just put one in my apartment complex a few weeks ago and the power meter has been in a couple weeks. I keep trying to sign up but I'm getting the "not available" thing from the Uverse website. Since Houston is going through the Time Warner-to-Comcast swap I don't want to deal with cable. From everything I've heard from people who have switched here in the Houston area Uverse is better anyway. I don't have a POTS line and so far my DSL hasn't gone out.]]></description>

Lost POTS and DSL, earliest truck roll was 3 days later but it was fixed in 20 minutes after the tech arrived.<br><br>We have 3 land lines but only one was cut, unfortunately it was the DSL line.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/297537"><b>en102</b></A> : Those that live in areas with Uverse buildouts happening (i.e. VRAD being installed), expect outages with your existing POTS/DSL.<br><br>at&t's contractors killed my line twice in 1 week.<br>Tuesday, POTS was dead, DSL still worked, showed up as a 'short'.  5 hours later, techs repaired it, moved me to a new pair.<br><br>Saturday, I had no POTS or DSL (killed on Friday evening).  Repaired Monday morning  :mad: as contractors had moved my service to a dead pair.<br><SMALL>--<br>Canada = Hollywood North</SMALL>]]></description>
