Go to this link and the select download.

After downloading and installing Boinc it will ask you to setup an account if you are new or to use an existing account if you have one.
If you need to setup an account you will need a valid e-mail account and to chose a pass word.
after that you will have to enter the link to your choice of a project.
For Seti it is "http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/" do not include the parentheses
Then to join the team go to the team page and select join team.

You now have joined Seti and Team Starfire.
