Re: VZ and T Not on the Same Page Another plus for VZ spending the extra "up front" money is that, barring disasters such as fiber seeking backhoes, rodents and errant diggers, fiber is much cheaper to maintain than copper, and has a lifespan of well over 30 years.
Money saved on maintenance costs can be counted as extra revenue, which in turn, if presented just right, can and should make stockholders very happy.
FIOS is being laid in my neighborhood now, and I cannot wait to get that 15Mbit package along with FIOSTV. |
